Appraisals
Buying an aircraft, whether it’s your first time or
your 100th, is, and should be an exciting time. But
don’t let your excitement override your desire to get
the best deal for your money.
Aircraft values are changing every month, if not more
frequently. Don’t’ get caught paying too many of your
hard earned dollars on what might appear to be a good
deal. As they say “You can’t judge a book by its cover”.
There are four basic steps to consider in the
acquisition process which will lead to the fifth and
final step. Skip any one and you could have serious
regrets.
- Identify your needs and your operating budget.
- Locate several good prospects.
- Get a Professional Appraisal.
- Have a quality shop do a pre-purchase
inspection.
- Enjoy your acquisition.
Crown Aviation can help you find and identify the
right aircraft that best suits your needs. For example,
just because it has four seats does not necessarily mean
that it is a four place aircraft. Or a low time engine
may not be worth what the seller thinks it is.
See FAQ.
